Each sheet was designed as a composition on its own but also works together as part of a larger image so that you have a variety of options.
We recommend sealing with a water based (or not harshsolvent based) sealer (waxes created for chalk type paints also work well if they don’t contain harsh solvents). Using the provided tool, or one of your choice, start at one end of the transfer and rub firmly to adhere the image to the surface. You are welcome for the free arm workout as well. If any parts aren’t transferred when you lift, simply lay it back down and rub more on that portion. After it is transferred, with a clean dry hand, smooth down any bits that aren’t flatly adhered. Carefully remove the transfer from its white backing.

I treated each as a dedicated model within a model, sculpting them to look as accurate as I could get them. LEGO is known for its small details so try to employ that philosophy into your design. You don’t want to rush through the building process. During the building process I realised I could include an additional feature, a connection point within the MHM’s hands that could be used to attach accessories. You might encounter similar opportunities along your building process that allow you to add cool, unexpected features.

(kinda low quality images, but still very workable) Look for similar shapes and styles to what you are building. Bricklink also offers MOCs for sale, but most of these come with the bricks. These MOCs are far more expensive with many in the $200+ for sets with over 1000 bricks. This is a great way to get the exact set you want, but it is expensive. Many of these ship from overseas so this can add to the cost. Plus, you probably own half the bricks needed, I'll show you how to make this work for you soon.

(you can design it digitally to make get an exact part list) In either case it is time to find out which bricks you have and what you need. I used to design custom sets on LDD all the time, and every once in a blue moon I still will. I never make sets off of existing IPs so I doubt anyone would be interested but I’d say I have a bit of experience in this field. Mostly with locations— vehicles and large characters like that Sentinel aren’t my speciality.
However, for MHM I found a box printing company online, and worked within a dieline template they provided. The dieline template corresponded to the specific box shape and dimensions I was ordering. I was using a specifically sized template which included bleeds and safe areas. I downloaded the template from the printing company I was ordering from.

This gives you my exact system for sorting, organizing and storing Lego. It also shows you how to build more for less $$$ using this system. Please, do yourself a favor, organize your bricks.
The completed brick SoFi includes more than 500,000 pieces of Lego, weighing more than 3,500 pounds. The scenes on display are modular too, so plans are underway to rotate out football for some concerts down the road, as well as other sports events. They'll also be able to change the people in the crowd. The stadium is filled with little jokes and references, which you'll find among more than 3,000 Miniland figures seated inside the stadium. One real-world specific you'll be able to spot is that the Lego players on the field represent the Los Angeles Rams' starting offense.
I don't mean just throwing together some parts that look cool. I am talking about builds that rival the official ones from Lego both in design and style. These are the creations of Lego Master Builders and can take months, even years to perfect. They may require adding a Lego wall for vertical building or a Lego Table if you are building a city. As others have said, the problem with this set is legal issues, i. They spend way more money on legal shenanigans than on fixing product quality issues.
I’ve learned that to maximize LEGO value, is to keep unopened sealed sets. As for the set, I build it, then do 1 of three things with it. For example, one of the top sets of 2021 is the colorful LEGO Everyone is Awesome.
Most cases this will work, unless the brick in question does not exist in the colour you need but plates do. Celebrating with your family surely is a common tradition in (probably) all cultures. This new set takes a special look at this tradition in China on the Spring Festival as final (15th) day of the new years celebrations. In China many people work away from their families and that's why the family reunion during the new years celebrations is an very important cultural aspect for those. For that, the reunions even are factored in for the planning of construction sites or other projects.
Did your favourite designer just publish a 1000-part masterpiece but you can't afford tobuy all those parts? Use Rebrickable to show you which parts you already have and helpyou to order the rest. If you are looking for LEGO storage options, I’ve come up with a way that seems to work for most people. This makes it easy to organize and retrieve any piece you may require.
Do yourself a favor, make a budget for the project and plan the build before you start buying. Building custom Lego sets is one of the most fun things you can do with your bricks. It allows you to go beyond the sets you have purchased and make some really amazing inventions. We have all seen pictures of a custom Lego build and thought, "I want to make that", well now is your chance.
Bricklink Studio allows you to export an inventory list of the parts used in your build so that you can upload this list to your Bricklink account. Then you can buy these parts from Bricklink.com using this list. We recently took on a project to make what we have called our Mutant Hunter Mech building set.
This is more often the case for parts that have only ever appeared in one set, at low quantities in that set. Examining LEGO sets that have a similar form to your future model will show you where to balance the weight or connection points. You can do this by looking at the instruction manual of a model via a free online PDF. Once you have looked at a lot of these, consider buying the set that is the most useful to your needs and build it so you can see how the model is stabilised in person. Start by searching for the set you want to build. A page will open with all the details of it, and most have a link to download free building instructions.
Our family has had some amazing success buying entire used collections. These usually come from teenagers who have chosen to move on from building. The last 2 purchases have added over 25,000 bricks for $175 (95% off retail prices). Check out our Sorted By Sunday system for more details on this. I am going to teach you everything I know about building custom Lego sets.
In some politically contentious years when these negotiation processes deadlock, the Legislative Branch passes a continuing resolution that essentially extends the current funding levels into the new fiscal year until a budget can be agreed upon by a majority of both houses and signed into law by the President of the United States. Supplemental appropriations bills can provide additional appropriations for emergencies and other matters. President Biden called the framework "one step closer to preventing a needless government shutdown and protecting important national priorities," noting, "It reflects the funding levels that I negotiated with both parties and signed into law last spring." In November, Congress passed a short-term bill extending funding for government services at current spending levels. A shutdown would have forced many federal employees to go without pay until Congress passed another funding bill, and while that disruption has been avoided for now, the threat will arise again in the coming weeks.
September 2023 continuing resolution
Though White House officials initially told Congress that Biden wanted $30 billion more to continue battling COVID-19, a few days later, he formally requested a scaled-back $22.5 billion. In bargaining over a final bill with skeptical Republicans, who said Congress had already spent enough, top Democrats settled for $15.6 billion. To that end, the bill also allocates $13.6 billion in funding toward military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine — those funds are about evenly divided between the Defense and non-Defense accounts. President Biden’s campaign had $85.5 million on hand at the end of March, filings show, and Donald Trump had $45 million, but the president is spending far more freely on the race.

A spokesperson for Rep. Burgess Owens said he will release a statement after giving the agreement a closer look.
Senate passes 2022 federal spending bill, sends to Biden’s desk
The vote to approve it was , but House Republicans were divided, with 113 in support and 97 against. House Speaker Mike Johnson highlighted some key policy and spending wins for conservatives, even as many of his GOP colleagues consider the changes inadequate. Some House Republicans had hoped the prospect of a shutdown could leverage more concessions from Democrats. One factor that helped generate a final compromise was Democratic leaders’ decision to restore the practice of earmarks. This year’s bill included thousands of those projects at a price tag of several billion dollars.

This legislation would restart construction of the border wall, deploy more border patrol agents, strengthen laws against human trafficking, and end the Biden administration’s catch-and-release policy while creating a stricter asylum process. He later clarified that negotiations on the budget bill are ongoing and he’ll consider all aspects of the legislation before making a final decision on how he’ll vote. The final compromise House and Senate appropriators reached this week also cut back a roughly equal amount of spending the the White House wanted to spend on COVID relief.
It will bring funding in line with a deal that was made last year between President Joe Biden and then-House speaker Kevin McCarthy, The New York Times reported. While Biden said he’ll sign the bill package as soon as he receives it, time is running short. The House has a rule that lawmakers get 72 hours to review a bill before voting. “It will also allow us to keep the investments for hardworking American families secured by the legislative achievements of President Biden and Congressional Democrats,” Schumer and Jeffries said. “Finally, we have made clear to Speaker Mike Johnson that Democrats will not support including poison pill policy changes in any of the twelve appropriations bills put before the Congress.
But finally getting a spending bill that aligns with 2022 spending priorities, rather than last year’s, presents challenges of its own, considering how much time has already passed. The $1.5 trillion spending bill, approved almost halfway through the fiscal year, is expected to be swiftly signed into law by the president. Republicans crossed party lines to back what many viewed as must-pass legislation.
Biden and congressional leaders announce a deal on government funding as a partial shutdown looms
Mr. Zelensky’s daring decision to visit Washington intensified the pressure to act on the measure, which includes nearly $50 billion in assistance to Ukraine. Funding previously would have expired at 12.01am on Saturday for roughly 20% of the federal government, and the remaining agencies only had enough money to last them through next Friday. If passed, the short-term funding bill, known as a continuing resolution, would mark the fourth such stopgap measure approved since September.

But as CNN reported, both sides of the aisle agreed to a side deal worth $69 billion, bringing the nondefense spending total to $773 billion and the top line to $1.659 trillion. Despite the deal, time is short to assemble and pass legislation putting the agreement in force before a Jan. 19 deadline. But Wednesday, rank-and-file House Democrats rebelled against cuts Republicans had negotiated in previously approved pandemic aid for 30 states to help pay for the new spending. Rather than delaying the entire bill, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., removed all the pandemic funds. As to the Defense budget, DoD leaders had previously estimated that a year-long CR would have left it with $20 billion less in spending power than it had the year before, partly because simply extending 2021 appropriations for another year would have left billions of dollars in accounts that don’t need and can’t spend the money.
AP Washington correspondent Sagar Meghani reports the White House and congressional leaders say they’ve reached a spending deal that would avert a potential government shutdown this weekend. The action comes nearly six months into the fiscal year, with Congress still only halfway home in passing spending measures expected to total about $1.65 trillion. Lawmakers passed the first portion of spending bills in early March, representing about 30% of discretionary spending for the year. Now lawmakers are focused on the larger package and, in what has become routine, are brushing up against a shutdown deadline. Meanwhile, the White House showed appreciation for the deal reached on Sunday, which not only is the first step to avoid a government shutdown and protect national security but also falls in line with the spending levels both parties agreed upon last year.
It will also fund the departments of Health and Human Services, Labor and others. “This represents the most favorable budget agreement Republicans have achieved in over a decade,” Johnson writes. "This represents the most favorable budget agreement Republicans have achieved in over a decade," wrote Johnson. Democrats staved off most of the policy riders that House Republicans sought to include. For example, they beat back an effort to reverse the FDA’s decision that allows the abortion pill mifepristone to be sold in retail pharmacies, instead of only in hospitals, clinics and medical offices. Democrats also said the bill would fully fund a nutrition program for low-income women, infants and children known as WIC.
Passing the federal spending package now will also ensure that government funding levels are set in stone while Democrats still control both the House and Senate. If either the Senate or House were to fail to advance the bill, there's a good chance it would be punted into the new year, when Republicans will control the House. From October 1, 2023, to March 23, 2024, the federal government operated under continuing resolutions (CR) that extended 2023 budget spending levels as legislators were debating the specific provisions of the 2024 budget. Most of the “no” votes are expected to come from Republicans, who have been critical of the overall spending levels as well as the lack of policy mandates sought by some conservatives, such as restricting abortion access, eliminating diversity and inclusion programs within federal agencies, and banning gender-affirming care. Schumer tweeted out a line from the statement, saying, "By securing the $772.7B for non-defense discretionary funding, we can protect key domestic priorities from the draconian cuts sought by right-wing extremists." Congressional leaders have reached an agreement on a framework to avert a shutdown and keep the federal government funded until the end of the fiscal year.
After meeting with Joe Biden at the White House on Tuesday, the House speaker, the Republican Mike Johnson, expressed confidence that members could reach an agreement and avoid a shutdown. WASHINGTON — Congressional leaders on Sunday announced an agreement on overall funding levels as lawmakers face a possible government shutdown. WASHINGTON (AP) — Congressional leaders on Sunday came out with a package of six bills setting full-year spending levels for some federal agencies, a step forward in a long overdue funding process beset by sharp political divisions between the two parties as well as infighting among House Republicans.
"The remaining six Appropriations bills – Defense, Financial Services and General Government, Homeland Security, Labor-HHS, Legislative Branch, and State and Foreign Operations - will be finalized, voted on, and enacted prior to March 22." House Speaker Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell and the House and Senate appropriations leads, released a joint statement on Wednesday committing to a plan to approve the legislation before the end of March. Johnson said he is staying firm on his demand for the passage of HR2, or the Secure the Border Act.
WASHINGTON — The Senate on Thursday approved a roughly $1.7 trillion spending package that would fund the federal government into next fall and send another round of financial assistance to Kyiv, a day after lawmakers welcomed President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine to Capitol Hill. Work on the final spending bills hit a late snag around funding for the Department of Homeland Security, but the contours of that bill were resolved late Monday. With less than two weeks before the first deadline—and with the House and Senate still on holiday break—House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced they have agreed to $1.59 trillion in spending for fiscal year 2024.
The House Freedom Caucus has already signaled they won't support the agreement, tweeting, "It's even worse than we thought. Don't believe the spin. Once you break through typical Washington math, the true total programmatic spending level is $1.658 trillion — not $1.59 trillion. This is total failure." Opposition from far-right Republicans means the legislation will likely need to pass with significant support from Democrats in the Republican-controlled House. The rivals each capitalized on splashy fund-raisers in the past month that brought in tens of millions of dollars for their respective campaigns. But Mr. Trump’s haul from an April 6 event in Palm Beach, Fla., will be reflected on a future filing. His campaign reported that it and the Republican National Committee raked in more than $50.5 million from the dinner, which was held at the home of the billionaire John Paulson. But Mr. Trump’s campaign is spending much less than it was at the start of the year, which has helped it inch closer.
To win the Republican votes needed for the measure to pass the Senate, Democrats agreed to a higher overall increase for military and defense programs compared with the health care, education and veterans affairs policies they champion. WASHINGTON — The Senate approved a $1.7 trillion government funding bill on Thursday, sending the legislation to the House, where it is expected to pass in time to beat a Friday night deadline to avert a partial federal government shutdown. Hard-right Republican lawmakers have voiced frustration with the short-term funding measures, but ongoing disagreements over some proposals in the appropriations bills have complicated talks over the full-year bills.

Under current law, the VA must send a beneficiary’s name to the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System whenever a fiduciary is appointed to help manage someone’s benefits. This year’s spending package prohibits the VA from transmitting that information unless a relevant judicial authority rules that the beneficiary is a danger to himself or herself, or others. “House Republicans secured key conservative policy victories, rejected left-wing proposals, and imposed sharp cuts to agencies and programs critical to President Biden’s agenda,” Johnson said in a prepared statement. "After preparing final text, this package of six full year Appropriations bills will be voted on and enacted prior to March 8," they wrote.

AP AUDIO: Biden and congressional leaders announce a deal on government funding as a partial shutdown looms.
Lawmakers needed an agreement on overall spending levels so that appropriators could write the bills that set line-by-line funding for agencies. House and Senate leaders have announced a spending deal for government funding in 2024—and the IRS will be impacted. It's the latest in the ongoing battle to keep the federal government's lights on. The 4,155-page bill will provide $772.5 billion for nondefense discretionary programs, and $858 billion in defense funding, according to a summary released earlier this week by Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt.
Utah Rep. Celeste Maloy, a member of Utah’s all-Republican congressional delegation, spoke to the Deseret News on Thursday about the importance of deciding on a topline spending number. She said she is grateful Johnson prioritized budget talks over the December recess so Congress has time to hammer out a final deal in coming days. The House speaker said Congress “must move quickly” to finish the appropriations process, which requires the support of both Republicans and Democrats, but hardline conservatives are pushing back as the two funding deadlines — Jan. 19 and Feb. 2 — to avoid a shutdown are fast approaching. The speaker said the agreement slashes the Senate’s proposed appropriations by $30 billion, noting that the numbers fall in line with the spending caps set by the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023, negotiated by President Joe Biden and former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., when suspending the debt ceiling.
Leaders in Congress reach agreement on spending levels in key step to avoiding shutdown
Johnson would then likely have to bring the bill up through a streamlined process requiring two-thirds support to pass. In a letter to colleagues, House Speaker Mike Johnson said Sunday the agreement would secure $16 billion in additional spending cuts from the previous agreement brokered by then-Speaker Kevin McCarthy and President Joe Biden and is about $30 billion less than what the Senate was considering. If those numbers sound familiar, they are similar to the amounts approved by the Senate Appropriations Committee in the debt ceiling agreement. “Throughout the negotiations, Democrats fought hard to protect against cuts to housing and nutrition programs, and keep out harmful provisions that would further restrict access to women’s health, or roll back the progress we’ve made to fight climate change,” Schumer, D-N.Y., said in support of the legislation. Overall, this year’s spending bills would keep non-defense spending relatively flat with last year’s bill, despite the rise in inflation, and some $70 billion less than what President Joe Biden originally sought.
Shawn VanDiver, a Navy veteran and head of #AfghanEvac, a coalition supporting Afghan resettlement efforts, called it an “unequivocal win” if the legislation is ultimately passed. There’s no good reason for us to have one this week now that we’re getting very close to finishing the job,” Schumer said. House Republicans have been determined to end the practice of packaging all 12 annual spending bills into one massive bill called an omnibus. “We want to get it done before the government funding expires Friday,” Scalise said. The agreement speeds up the roughly $20 billion in cuts already agreed to for the Internal Revenue Service and rescinds about $6 billion in COVID relief money that had been approved but not yet spent, according to Johnson’s letter. The figures represent about a 5% increase in nondefense spending, and an 8% hike for defense and Pentagon programs. With government funding partially expiring on Friday, House and Senate negotiators have reached an agreement to prevent a shutdown. Congress will have to officially pass the deal, which already has some challenges. Specifically, conservatives in the Senate want to shore up immigration and border security demands—while conservatives in the House have tied funding decreases to requests for aid for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. Congressional leaders struck an agreement to keep the government funded and avert a shutdown. The deal still needs to get through Congress, where it is likely to face opposition from conservatives.
After months of negotiations, House and Senate leaders reached an agreement Sunday on total spending levels to fund the government in 2024. Given that the measure is the last must-pass bill before the holidays and the end of the 117th Congress, lawmakers shoved dozens of separate funding and legislative priorities into the package. The compromise offered Democrats a final opportunity to set the federal budget while they still control both chambers of Congress. The bill, which funds the government through the end of September, substantially increases spending and provides $858 billion in military funding and more than $772 billion for domestic programs.
The agreement includes an increase in Pentagon spending to $886.3 billion and holds nondefense funding essentially flat at $772.7 billion, including $69 billion of added money agreed to through a handshake deal between Mr. McCarthy and the White House. That additional spending is offset by speeding up $10 billion in cuts to I.R.S. enforcement and clawing back $6 billion in unspent Covid dollars and other emergency funds. Officials said the agreement did not include an additional $14 billion sought by the Republican and Democratic appropriators in the Senate to beef up both domestic and military spending. Approval of the sprawling package came less than three days after it was unveiled, as lawmakers raced to avert a government shutdown and codify dozens of fiscal and legislative priorities.

Congress reaches a deal on how much to spend for 2024 as shutdown deadline nears.
That translates to roughly $886 billion in defense spending (an approximately 3% increase) and $704 in non-defense spending (about 1% decrease), including a $69 billion side deal in adjustments that will go toward non-defense domestic spending. Biden, in a statement, said the deal "moves us one step closer to preventing a needless government shutdown and protecting important national priorities." The agreement sets topline spending levels at $886 billion for defense spending for the current fiscal year and roughly $773 billion for non-defense spending. The defense figure reflects the deal reached last year by President Biden and former Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Congressional leaders hope to complete votes on the package this week and continue negotiations on the remaining six annual spending bills to pass them before a March 22 deadline. The vote both avoids the prospect of government shutdowns through the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30, and eliminates the threat of a year-long continuing resolution that federal agencies had feared.
The stopgap bill was part of a broader bipartisan agreement between all four leaders in the House and Senate. The deal also included an agreement on six of the twelve annual spending bills. The stopgap under consideration today give them until March 22 to finish work on the remaining six bills. Johnson said that while the “final spending levels will not satisfy everyone, and they do not cut as much spending as many of us would like,” they will help the government to continue functioning and prioritize “conservative objectives” as well as crucial policies included within the spending bills.

The cameras captured all of the drama and the pay off that comes with months of planning and constructing such an immersive and scary seasonal attraction. In the firing squad room, guests are lined up with their faces against the wall as other guests shoot them with small pellets.

But I can understand how someone who detests loud noises or the sense of being trapped might want out. In a freezing “meat locker” – complete with the scent of blood – realistic pig carcases dangle. A paddy wagon feels as though it’s really moving. A storm of plastic balls nearly “drowns” you in a narrow passageway. Ghosts attack in a chapel and a deranged student attacks in a classroom.

There’s also the Cockroach Room, where a masked person plays with live roaches and then puts them on guests. Then there’s a room where people are locked in electric chairs and forced to shock each other.

Courtesy of Vixi Labs, all prison treatment facilities will now be powered by revolutionary Vixi-technology. Operated by vile and sadistic engineers, their unorthodox methods for treating evils of humanity have hit new levels of depravity. “The last door had water, I was submerged in water and that’s the one I didn’t do well in,” said 25-year-old Megan Pruett, a Phoenix, Ariz. resident who had just gone through the attraction. “The thing that’s really cool is that for people who may be too afraid to go through the haunt, they can watch the show and decide if they want to come,” Luther said of the series. The main attraction is based on the fictional tale of Paula, a young girl with a traumatic past who enrolls into Gluttire University. But her demons follow her to college and now into Perpetuum Penitentiary, a prison where she has been locked up.

They have added a 50 minute field trip this year. Far from those kid-friendly rides through a pumpkin patch, this hayride unleashes all sorts of demons and bogeys on Griffith Park.
